Our Wig Install includes braiding of natural hair, professional bonding, and clip placement for security. Shampoo and conditioning are included Monday-Wednesday. Blowdry is an optional add-on. Note: the wig or hair is not included but may be purchased separately.
Natural hair is braided and protected during installation; when performed correctly bonding and clip placement should not cause damage. We use gentle techniques, but clients with fragile hair or scalp conditions should consult our stylist beforehand for tailored options and protective measures.
Shampoo and conditioning are complimentary for Wig Installs booked Monday through Wednesday. Appointments outside these days can add these services for an additional fee. We recommend booking within the included days for the best value and optimal installation results.
Hair and wigs are not included with the Wig Install but are available for purchase separately from Dawn of Beauty. Clients may also bring their own wig. Our team can advise on texture, length, and color to ensure the perfect match and fit.
Timing varies with braiding complexity, wig customization, and hair density, but most Wig Install appointments take approximately two to four hours from start to finish. Allow extra time for add-ons like blowdrying or custom hair preparation to ensure a flawless result.
Aftercare includes gentle washing and conditioning, avoiding heavy oils or products near the bond, sleeping with a silk wrap, and minimizing heat near the hairline. Schedule maintenance every four to eight weeks to check bonds, tighten clips, and refresh the style.
